Behold! Meditate On the Sun as Thy Self! O Mortal!

In the beginning this world was nonexistent! O mortal!
Behold it become existent and it grew.
Behold it turned into a cosmic egg! O mortal!
Behold it lay for a period of one year and then burst open! O mortal!
Behold then came out of the cosmic egg two parts one of silver and the other of gold.
Behold mediate on the sun as thy self! O mortal!

Behold that part of the cosmic egg which was of silver is this earth
Behold that part of the cosmic egg which was of gold is the sky
Behold the mountains are the outer membrane of the cosmic egg.
Behold the moist of the cloud is the inner membrane of the cosmic egg.
Behold the rivers are the veins of the cosmic egg.
Behold the oceans is the fluid within the cosmic egg.
Behold what was born from the cosmic egg is the yonder sun! O mortal!
Behold mediate on the sun as thy self! O mortal!

Behold all beings and all desires arose when the sun was born! O mortal!
Behold shouts and hurrays arose when the sun was born! O mortal!
Behold at the rise of the sun all beings and all desires arise! O mortal!
Behold at the rise of the sun, all shouts and all hurrays arise! O mortal!
Behold pleasant shouts shall come unto thee and delight thee! O mortal!
Behold mediate on the sun as thy self! O mortal!
